This policy explains how Skilled Route UK ("we", "us") handles your personal data for the jobs board and the paid Job Alerts subscription. We are the data controller.

What we collect

When you subscribe to alerts: your name, email address, chosen profession and preferred location.
Payment: processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation and limited billing details; we do not store your full card number.
Usage: basic analytics about how the site is used.

How we use it

To send you the job alerts you signed up for (matched to your profession/location).
To take payment and manage your subscription.
To respond to your enquiries and meet legal obligations.

Our lawful bases are performance of our contract with you (providing the Service) and our legitimate interests in running and improving it.

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us operate: our CRM/marketing platform (GoHighLevel / Funnel Sketcher), our payment processor (Stripe), and our email delivery provider. They process data on our instructions. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

For as long as you are a subscriber and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting and dispute-handling needs, then we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, to object to processing, and to data portability. You can unsubscribe from alerts at any time via the link in any email, and manage or cancel your subscription via the portal. To exercise any right, email [email protected].

You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.
