Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 26 September 2026
This policy explains your right to cancel and obtain a refund for the paid Job Alerts subscription. It sits alongside our Terms of Service.
14-day cooling-off period
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations you have the right to cancel within 14 days of subscribing, for a refund.
- If you cancel within 14 days and we have not yet started delivering alerts at your request, you receive a full refund.
- If you asked us to start the alerts within the 14 days (i.e. you began receiving them), we may retain a proportionate amount for the alerts already delivered and refund the balance.
To exercise this right, email [email protected] within 14 days, or cancel via the subscription management portal and request a refund.
Cancelling after 14 days
You can cancel at any time via the subscription management portal. Cancellation stops future billing; your alerts continue until the end of the current paid period. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for the remainder of a period after the 14-day window, unless required by law.
Unsubscribing vs cancelling
The unsubscribe link in each email stops the alert emails but does not cancel your paid subscription on its own. To stop payments, cancel through the portal.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe, normally within 5–10 business days.
