How to read this. This is public information from the UK Home Office Register of Licensed Sponsors, refreshed daily. A licence means an employer can sponsor a Skilled Worker visa — it does not mean they are hiring, have a vacancy, or will sponsor you. Always confirm directly with the employer. Never pay a fee for visa sponsorship. Skilled Route UK is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the UK Government, the Home Office or the NHS.

How to check if a company is a licensed UK visa sponsor

Only employers on the UK Home Office Register of Licensed Sponsors can legally issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) for a Skilled Worker visa. To check an employer, type their company name into the search box above — we match it against the official register (122,353 Skilled Worker sponsors), refreshed daily. A result shows the sponsor's licence rating and location.

What the A and B ratings mean

A-rated is the standard rating: the sponsor is meeting its Home Office compliance duties and can issue new Certificates of Sponsorship. B-rated is a temporary downgrade — the sponsor is on an action plan and may be unable to sponsor new hires until it is restored to an A rating.

No result for a company?

If a company doesn't appear, it may not hold a Skilled Worker licence, may trade under a different legal name than the one you searched, or may have joined or left the register since our last update. Always confirm directly with the employer and check the official GOV.UK register.
